What is Giving Tuesday?

Most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday … now we have GivingTuesday, November 30th, 2021. It is an international movement for giving and volunteering. #GivingTuesday marks the start of the giving season, it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes.

Each year this month of November kicks off the giving season with, Giving Tuesday Nov 30th 2021.

It’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for their favorite causes! Now, more than ever your favorite charity, The Elks & Royal Purple Fund for Children, needs your support after a challenging two years during the global pandemic.

We know how much you care about our mission, you show it in your enthusiasm for our cause, the countless hours of volunteering and your generous donations. All that you do, ensures we can continue to help Canadian children access the medical equipment and appointments they require.

Help Us Make A Difference This Giving Tuesday

Each year the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children donates over $500,000 to families in need and provincial programs that support kids in need of speech and hearing therapy. We raise this money each year not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because it feels good to do it.

This year, we are inviting you to feel good too. You have a chance to help us raise  $10,000 or more and give not only you the chance to feel like you’ve made a difference, but allow your friends and family that chance too by showing them what the Elks are all about. Whether you are regular donor, someone who is new to the Fund for Children, or someone who is paying forward the help that the Fund for Children has given you and your family, every donation helps us help someone in need.
